I am generating tiles for a country the size of Spain, between zoom 4 to 15. It has generated 2.3G worth of tiles, have been running for 2 days straight on my laptop, and is still running on zoom level 15.
Most of the tiles are 'Empty Tile's. What does empty tile mean? I need to update the styling soon, so have to go through this whole process again. Is there anything I can do to speed up this process and reduce the footprint? Perhaps by generate only 1 tile for the million of empty tiles. Any help is greatly appreciated. Xin
