Thanks, Ken-ichi. Good to know someone else is in the same boat:-) I tried your suggestions, and it seems that the versions of Python are lined up properly. I do have another version of Python installed in / opt, but I don't think that is conflicting here.
Will continue to investigate. What issues are you facing?
