Hi! I have created an XSLT stylsheet that takes a Mapnik map file and generates a HTML overview of all the data in it. Much more readable than the map file itself.
The XSLT is at http://geo.topf.org/mapnik/mapnik-overview.xsl An example is at http://geo.topf.org/mapnik/osm.xml . This is the normal osm.xml with instructions for the browser to apply the stylesheet on it. In Firefox this will do the translation on the fly. Tested with FF 3.0, don't know about other browsers. The symbolizer symbols have popups if you mouse over them.
