Dear List, I have used TextSymbolizer for my line data as :
<TextSymbolizer name="roadname" face_name="DejaVu Sans Mono Bold" size="11" fill="#303030" halo_radius="0" placement="line" allow_overlap = "false" avoid_edges = "true" spacing = "150" min_distance = "150"/> I found some discrepancy in the way the line data got labeled on the map.
