Probably I am posting this at a wrong forum, but please pardon me. I have the a setup with OSM + Mapnik + tilecache. My application accesses the tiles using the google notation of z/x/y.png. What I noticed is that the Y value is counted from bottom to top, as compared to Top to bottom in VE or Google maps. Does anybody know why this happens?
