Hello,

This questions are coming over and over through my mind, "How will I handle
bilingual labels"

In the country I want to map, there are ofter two names for each city/street
and I need to display both of them.

For cities, I have concatenated both names in one with a space in between.
(name1 name2)
With a good "wrap width" value I have a quite good result displayed on two
lines but that's not perfectly perfect :-p
I'd have preferred keeping them separated and giving each text a different
style but there I have troubles with collisions and the amount of label
displayed where there isn't enough space to display them all ...

The problem for street name is a bit different.
I would like something like --- label 1 --- label 2 --- label 1 --- label 2
--- ...
a good alternation between label 1 and 2 and a constant space between
labels. There I'm struggling with "spacing" and "minimum distance" in my XML
for about an hour without a neat result.

So I am looking for some hints in case someone would have already done such
things.

Thanks in advance.

Nicolas.
