Yes, we provide both python 25 and python26 versions of Mapnik for
this reason: that some applications only work with one or the other.
In the case of QGIS, I think you are right that the windows downloads
are built only for python 25, so you need to enable that version of
Mapnik, and disable the python 26 version.
