Hello,
I am working with some raster data (CADRG) with a single band indexed to
a color palette. The GDAL plugin currently renders it as grayscale.
The source for the GDAL plugin seems to extract the colormap, but has a
TODO for applying it to the rendered image. Is anyone currently working
on this or is there an anticipated milestone for this functionality? I
didn't notice anything explicitly in trac.
The base functionality seems to be there with the new RasterColorizer.
Alternatively, gdal_translate uses the VRT's AddComplexSource() call to
convert from indexed to RGB. I am not overly familiar with GDAL or the
Mapnik source, but might be able to devote some time, if necessary, to
help get this in the next release.
