Dear List, I use Mapnik to generate large tiles as rasters. Those rasters are then used to generate small tiles on demand. (with Mapnik too)
Up until now this worked fine but rendering all that in png lead to heavy tiles. I decided to switch then from png to png256. There comes the trick. My rasters are still perfectly rendered but when rendering tiles out of those rasters, the tiles are in black and white. This wasn't the case previously. Is there an explanation to this and a workaround ? Thanks a lot for any hint.
