Hi, I am Vivek Narayanan, a sophomore undergraduate student from India. I am interested in contributing to the Mapnik project, through GSoC (Google Summer of Code) or otherwise. I have developed a few applications on social networking sites, including one that uses the Google Maps API . I have experience in Python, HTML, Javscript, jQuery, MySQL, PHP etc . I am looking for some pointers on where to start first.
