Cool, great thanks for testing. MarkersSymbolizer is experimental in trunk, but has lots of great new features. > The default <MarkersSymbolizer/> works fine, but if I try to draw my own png > or > svg, nothing appears. Looks like you've found a bug. In general is it common for symbols to not appear with the MarkersSymbolizer because they may overlap. So, you can prompt them to show up if you use: allow-overlap="true" But, in testing just now I notice that with large symbols that still does not ensure placement (despite overlap) so something is wrong in the markers placement code. So, could you do two things? 1) try setting allow-overlap="true" and making sure your svg symbols are small, like 5-10 px wide. Then let me know whether that allows them to show up. 2) Next file a ticket against Mapnik 2.0 milestone at trac.mapnik.org with any and all details you can provide (like your symbol files and the source of the data). > I've no found so many examples of use with MarkersSymbolizer, except the > sample on the doc with the ladybird. > I'll be happy to found a complete example with a svg or png. > Some exist for the markers symbolizer here: http://svn.mapnik.org/trunk/tests/data/good_maps/ > Thanks > > -- > Nicolas Dumoulin > http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:NicolasDumoulin > _______________________________________________ > Mapnik-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/mapnik-users _______________________________________________ Mapnik-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/mapnik-users
