Hi,
i'm a new user of osm, mapnik and nik2osm. After mapped and tagged tracks
of my town, I need to generate a map. I'm using nik2img but I'd like to have
map with a good quality (a tiff image at 300dpi could be a good quality). In
prints I made, the font and the streets are too small and is difficult to
read a printed map.
The command I used is
nik2img.py osm.xml centro_storico.png --srs 900913 --bbox 16.92037
41.062421 16.923277 41.064628 -d 5000 5000 .

Using the flag zoom (--zoom 20), the results didn't improve!
Any ideas?
I wasn't able to install townguide, becouse I had some problem to install
mapnik2 in my ubuntu 9.10 system and I mean that it's impossibile to print
a map from the site http://maposmatic.org/ with a best quality and at max
zoom level of administrative boundary.
Anyone can help me?
Thank a lot.

Paolo
