Follow-up Comment #5, task #10116 (project maposmatic):
This is dane (from mapnik). World file will do this along with PNG to allow
output to be opened in GIS viewer. See the `to_wld' function at:
http://mapnik-utils.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/nik2img/mapnik_utils/metaclass_injectors.py
alternatively we could also add GeoTiff output to Mapnik proper.
