while switching builds to java7, I've noticed that a bit of the mapreduce
trunk build is trying to create 0.24 tar.gz files
tar -rvf
${WORKSPACE}/hadoop-mapreduce-project/target/hadoop-mapreduce-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.tar
build/hadoop-mapreduce-tools-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
#add examples jar
tar -rvf
${WORKSPACE}/hadoop-mapreduce-project/target/hadoop-mapreduce-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.tar
build/hadoop-mapreduce-examples-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
#add test jars
tar -rvf
${WORKSPACE}/hadoop-mapreduce-project/target/hadoop-mapreduce-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.tar
build/hadoop-mapreduce-test-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
gzip
${WORKSPACE}/hadoop-mapreduce-project/target/hadoop-mapreduce-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.tar
Looking at the output, an 84 byte tar file really is created
https://builds.apache.org/view/H-L/view/Hadoop/job/Hadoop-Mapreduce-trunk/
Last Successful Artifacts
hadoop-mapreduce-0.24.0-SNAPSHOT.tar.gz 82 B
hadoop-mapreduce-3.0.0-SNAPSHOT.tar.gz 19.31 MB
I'm going to cull these unless anyone can explain why the 0.24 snapshots
are ever going to be needed
