Steve Loughran reopened MAPREDUCE-6499:

things are only tagged as "fixed" when checked in; fix version = version of
hadoop with patch in.
Instead, hit 'submit patch' and specify the hadoop version you are targeting
(which must be unreleased) in the "target version" field.
