Hi All, Thanks for helping with 3.1.0 releases. After many patches resolved or moved, now we have 9 blockers/criticals [1] (which is down from 33 blockers/criticals in one week before!).
Among these 9 blockers/critical: - All 3 YARN JIRAs will be resolved in a few days. - 3 fs/s3 related JIRAs [1] are pending review or patch. (Steve/Aaron could you share what's your plan on this?) In addition, - HADOOP-14295: I saw patch is ready, Wei-Chiu, could you share your plan on this? - HADOOP-9747: Daryn provided a patch for this, is there any committer could help review UGI related changes? Apart from this, I ran JACC [3] to compare branch-3.0.0 and branch-3.1, haven't found any incompatible changes. Tomorrow will be our proposed VOTE start time (Feb 18, PST) for 3.1.0. If there any issue has to be done before 3.1.0, please let me know. I plan to move open JIRAs to 3.2.0 if I don't get updates from each contributor.
