Several spelling and sentence-spacing errors remain in
hadoop-mapreduce-client-core on current trunk.
- Framework deployment documentation: remove the duplicate "is" in
DistributedCacheDeploy.md.vm and correct "accomodate" to "accommodate" there
and in MapredCommands.md.
- Configuration descriptions: correct two instances of "overriden" to
"overridden" in mapred-default.xml descriptions.
- Aggregation and reducer Javadocs: correct "reduce/combiner phrase" to
"reduce/combiner phase" and add missing spaces after sentences in the mapred
and mapreduce APIs.
The patch contains 13 text corrections in 9 files, all in the MapReduce client
core module. It does not change configuration names or values, commands, API
names, executable code, or existing end-of-file newline conventions.
Validation: git diff --check passed; mapred-default.xml parses successfully;
all non-description property fields are unchanged; each modified file was
compared with the base to verify only the reviewed text substitutions. No Maven
build or unit tests were run locally. No new functional tests are needed for
this documentation-only change.
