bq. -1 tests included. The patch doesn't appear to include any new or modified
tests.
Forgot to comment on this. This issue introduced code for generating state
graphs. Cannot put automatic test as it needs an external dependency on
graphviz package. I tested this manually anyways besides Binglin's attached
graphs.
