Bhallamudi Venkata Siva Kamesh commented on MAPREDUCE-3830:
-----------------------------------------------------------
User has not been control to provide insert query. It has been framed inside
the code, using given *table name* and *fields*. I think there should be an
option as a configuration property, which accepts insert query from the user
side.
One advantage of having this one is, some DBs support insertion/updation using
a single query.
For example, MySQL supports insertion/updation operation using a single query
(insert ignore).
Or handling this inside code?
Any Comments?
