Jason Lowe commented on MAPREDUCE-3546:
---------------------------------------
The version mismatch issue does seem to be solved by HADOOP-7934. What's left
are multiple binding warnings (all for the same SLF4J versions) which is being
tracked by HADOOP-8005. Any reason to keep this particular issue open?

> Running a cluster on trunk, I ran into an issue caused by the differing slf4j
> versions between YARN and HDFS. YARN is currently using 1.6.1 whereas HDFS is
> using 1.5.11. Unclear whether we should upgrade HDFS or downgrade YARN.
