I think the distcache should be fine, but we are still going to need a new
property so that MR knows where in HDFS the corresponding jars have been
installed. Preferably it should also have the version number somewhere in
there so if someone builds a new experimental version of hadoop with some
modifications they don't accidentally get the wrong version.
