Hi Laxman,
The static {{MapOutputBuffer}} class has its own implementation of
{{getTaskID().}} If you don't see this in {{MapTask.java}} after applying the
patch, it means you did not apply the patch correctly. If you have any more
build problems, please communicate through e-mail. The Hadoop QA build is more
robust and it will flag any error in the patch.
