Even if timeline v2 client was never added as a service, the MR AM should be
calling System.exit when it is done to make sure it tears down even if there
are rogue non-daemon threads around. I'm curious how the timeline v2 client is
preventing the JVM exit if it itself has not been told to shutdown.
