Here's my current patch.
-013:
* clean up the seconds log
* clean up some timeouts
* remove the test-dir directory creation, since all of these tests will build
them on demand (this enables being able to do .5C or whatever as a thread
count. should probably look to see if other tests still need them created
before hand...)
