ASF GitHub Bot logged work on MAPREDUCE-7386: --------------------------------------------- Author: ASF GitHub Bot Created on: 08/Jun/22 18:58 Start Date: 08/Jun/22 18:58 Worklog Time Spent: 10m Work Description: snmvaughan commented on PR #4415: URL: https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/4415#issuecomment-1150283211 I'd be happy to build distributions serially and in parallel, and confirm that there are no differences. @saintstack is correct. The parallel build fails because the dependencies are needed, but aren't documented. Maven just needs more information in order to avoid a race condition which doesn't occur when run serially.
