Hi, I have a hadoop and cassandra installation running. Having tested hadoop for the word count example I want to integrate cassandra and hadoop.
I have the column families for the following in cassandra: User, Behavior and UserBehavior I want to get recommendations of behaviors for some user who is closest to some other users behaviors. Is this possible with hadoop? Do I need to run any map reduce job to get this data from cassandra. Or I simply need to pull data from cassandra through hadoop and process it and pass it mahout to do the recommendations. please tell me if I'm correct? and how I can achieve the above?
