Can't we do this minutely via the replicating diffs, as we're doing on cassini? The --rri task is available in the latest osmosis 0.32 release, so we wouldn't need a svn/head version. The scripts that run on cassini can be found in http://svn.toolserver.org/svnroot/mazder/diff-import/ The tile expiry code is somehow experimental, as I was unable to test it on cassini due to lack of write privileges on the tiles dir.
