Hello aude, I think an alternative style would be great so we could discuss about it and than be able to vote which style is better for us in combination with the Wikipedia-overlay and the style of our vector-skin. On the other side it has also some advantages to use the standard OSM-style so it makes no different for the user which website he use.
Maps with highlighted buildings for tourism attraction sounds interesting but I wouldn't disable the other buildings.
