Okay, the server and warper.wmflabs.org is back up. Not sure what happened but there were a few restarts of Labs instances recently. What I saw was that many of the NFS mounts were not in place and a full /tmp (poss due to failed uploads) and /var partition. I've cleaned out some more space and restarted things which should keep it going.
As for the best place - generally we use Github https://github.com/wikimaps-dev/mapwarper/issues for software and phabricator https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/wikimaps-warper/ for server stuff. regards, Tim On 3 November 2016 at 12:58, Tim Waters <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Reinier, > > many thanks, I've also noticed it being down and am currently > investigating the server. > > It does initially appear to have run out of disk space > > Regards, > > Tim > > On 3 November 2016 at 12:15, Reinier Battenberg <[email protected]> > wrote: >> Hi, >> >> Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but it seems the Warper server >> went >> offline this weekend (because of a big georeferencing party in Norway and >> subsequently running out of diskspace). >> >> Is there any timeline of bringing it back up? >> >> -- >> groeten/regards, >> >> Reinier Battenberg >> Mountbatten >> tel: +31 687 348 845 >> twitter: @batje >> skype: reinierbattenberg >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Maps-l mailing list >> [email protected] >> https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/maps-l _______________________________________________ Maps-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/maps-l
