In the example case it is possible to get a zoom with "auto" to work. However in cases where there are no tag to the Wikidata-item in OSM this does not work as well. I would also be interested in a possibility to query the map data from Lua. A return of a bounding box as Strainu asks about would obviously be great, but even a possibility to know if there is a geoline or a geoshape for this item would enable the Lua module to select between auto-zoom or some explicit value.
