Hi Steve, Removing it from WFS responses etc. could make it easier to diff results, but I'd prefer leaving it in.
I'd prefer it if the version info was returned for an empty MapServer request rather than the cryptic (for new users): "mapserv(): Web application error. Traditional BROWSE mode requires a TEMPLATE in the WEB section, but none was provided."
