Hi Reinoud, I do have a PROJECTION block at the MAP object, as well as WMS_SRS METADATA in my LAYERs. So I am quite sure the warning is about the missing LAYER PROJECTION block.
But as you said, this should not be needed anymore, and the warning should be updated to reflect this.
