What is a grid object in a MAPSERVER MapFile, exactly?
I think it's a method of adding in a regularly spaced set of grid lines to a particular projection.
My bigger question is, can this be applied towards displaying the National Grid with easting/northing labels? Is anyone working with the National Grid as a layer in their application?
Let me know if I need to add more background here.
