Greetings,

(thanks James Léveillé - your advice worked perfectly!)

I was wondering how to produce anti-aliased lines. I tried using the 'ANTIALIAS true' statement with the style for the line, and I also tried using the AGG renderer (mapserver was compiled with AGG), but my lines still do not appear anti-aliased.

Here is an example of my output:

<<inline: line-example.png>>

And the corresponding sections of my .map file:

OUTPUTFORMAT
NAME 'AGG'
DRIVER AGG/PNG
IMAGEMODE RGB
END

LAYER
 CONNECTIONTYPE postgis
 NAME "roads"
 CONNECTION "user=postgres dbname=ca_hwy host=localhost"
DATA "the_geom FROM (SELECT roads.oid AS oid, roads.the_geom AS the_geom, roads.fename AS fename FROM roads) AS named_roads USING UNIQUE oid USING SRID=-1"
 STATUS ON
 TYPE LINE
 LABELITEM fename
 CLASS
   STYLE
     COLOR 100 100 100
     WIDTH 4
     ANTIALIAS TRUE
   END
 END
END

(I removed the label section to abbreviate)

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or if that is the best I can make it look?
