By the way, the latter link has not working links referring to old
gdal.maptools.org.

I have fixed the links in the OGR Howto document. In the future if
you (or anyone) notices any problems with documents please create a
ticket through the MapServer Trac instance[1], using the "MapServer
Documentation" component. thanks.
