Some of the items that I will need to show is an image for city hall, parks, schools, hospitals etc. Does anyone have an example on how I could go about doing this? Next, I would like to create a "bike trail" layer. One of the items I would like to do is have an "recreational" icon show up along the segment at a given number of pixels on the map; ie every 3 inches on the screen. I was unsuccessful when I tried using pixels. Has anyone had success doing this? Last, As a somewhat new user, I find that the first several map files were hard to do. Does anyone know of a good tool to work with to help create mapfiles? Mark Volz GIS Specialist Lyon County, MN (507) 532-8218
