I use the Fedora distribution, don't know what else can I do because I can't
display ECW
raster files. This is what i've done:
I downloaded de ECW toolkit and then i did this:
./configure
./make
./make install
Then i configure and make the gdal to support ECW
./configure --with-png --with-libtiff --with-jpeg --with-gif
--with-ecw=/usr/local --with-pg=/usr/local/pgsql/bin/pg_config --with-geos
--without-libtool
./make
./make install
Then i configure and make Mapserver
./configure --with-proj=/usr/lib --with-geos=/usr/bin/geos-config
--with-ogr=/usr/local/bin/
gdal-config --with-gdal=/usr/local/bin/gdal-config --with-wms-server
--with-wmsclient
--with-wfs --with-wfsclient --with-postgis=/usr/local/pgsql/bin/pg_config
--with-curl-config=
/usr/bin/curl-config --with-httpd=/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd
--with-php=/usr/local/php-5.2.6
