Hi everyone, I'm just about done building a fresh copy of Mapserver 5.2 on my Ubuntu 8.04 machine and have one final snag to overcome - PDF support. I've specified "--with-pdf" in my compile options, but when I look carefully, I see "libpdf not found or too old", and my resulting mapserv executable lacks PDF support. Problem is that there doesn't seem to be a "libpdf", or "pdflib" package for Ubuntu, so I'm not really sure what to do.
There are a couple other *pdf*.so files in /usr: /usr/lib/tracker/extract-modules/libextract-pdf.so /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libpdffilter680li.so /usr/lib/ImageMagick-6.3.7/modules-Q16/coders/pdf.so /usr/lib/evince/backends/libpdfdocument.so Could I use one of those instead? Thanks, Roger --
