Update: I saw an Intel Atom benchmark here: http://laptoping.com/intel-atom-benchmark.html
It has about similar performance with Pentium III Tualatin (1.13 GHz), so I think it's not really bad for MapServer (and postgreSQL), isn't it? I mean, most open source applications don't have resource-hogging overhead, so it's quite okay, isn't it? -Kresh --- On Tue, 1/13/09, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [mapserver-users] MapServer on Intel Atom? > To: [email protected], "Dan Little" <[email protected]> > Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 5:35 AM > Hi, thanks. > > The vectors are quite simple.
