Ok I found it. It was a mapfile issue.
I should have define some properties for LEGEND so the final block for me
is:
LEGEND
LABEL
ENCODING ISO-8859-7
TYPE TRUETYPE
FONT 'TAHOMA'
ANTIALIAS true
SIZE 9
END
END
