Hi, I need to present numbers in a map that have the data type real (length=19, Precision=8) by labeling a shapefile. It looks a kind off stupid with this precision as the eg. 27.12 is represented as 27.12000000. So i'd like to chop off some of the trailing zeros. I understand that mapserver can't do this in current version.
So my question is - how can I do this in batch in pre processing? I receive the shape files with this data definition as a daily dump, so manipulation by hand is out off the question :( Any suggestions are welcome.
