.... projections....projections... it is what differentiates a geo-specialist from a "regular" programmer
Hello Jelmer, The wgs84 layer is correct because the ellipsoid/spheroid is the same as used by the mercator projection. We in the Netherlands use the Bessel ellipsoid on our Rijksdriehoekstelsel so you need a +towgs84 transformation too.. http://blog.openstreetmap.nl/index.php/2009/08/27/woorden-schieten-tekort/ Good luck!
