Hi, Because the error is getString(): Symbol definition error. Parsing error near (:):(line 17) I would very first have a look at the mapfile and see what there is on the line 17. Error seems to suggest that you have there a colon mark : and for some reason Mapserver do not like it.

When I run mapserv in http://geo.salud.gob.sv/cgi-bin/mapserv I get the message No query information to decode. QUERY_STRING is set, but empty.
