Stange cause I actually got EXTENT from ogrinfo querying a postgis layer as reported in this example http://mapserver.org/input/vector/postgis.html#ogrinfo-examples and here's the relevant output: Extent: (313371.309628, 3933679.249407) - (1312087.106406, 5220406.386046) ...same error -r
