Hi,We have found that version 2.4.10 of Freetype causes text through MapServer to render differently (and not as nicely) as v2.3.9 of Freetype.
Whilst we have got round this issue by reverting to the earlier version of Freetype, we are concerned that this may cause issues in the future if the old version either stops working on newer operating systems, or if Mapserver stops linking to it.
I have attached a couple of screenshots (hopefully these will come through on the list), and i can provide example shapefile and mapfile etc if required...
I guess what I'm looking for is feedback as to whether this is a known issue, and whether it should be submitted as a bug report to Mapserver (if so, how?), or to Freetype?
