But, since I'm here, I can answer the question: No, the current catalog doesn't support that kind of reference. I don't think it would be that hard to add an enhancement that can handle such tasks but we'd need to add code to the base. If it's something you really need in the short term then I'm always available for GeoMOOSE contracts big and small.
