Hello all, I was working with Mapserver on Windows before. Now we moved to Linux. We use Mapserver 6.4.1. The response time to GetCapabilities and GetMap - requests for the same WMS vary a lot, depending on if you send the requests via browser or an Open Layers application or some other viewers or GIS. Often the requests even run on a timeout. The server is not busy at all. Does anybody know why? I saw your message from 2014 Jukka Rahkonen concerning " Slow output to PNG format with Mapserver 6.4" but you didn't seem to get a response. Any clues?
