Hi, Some ideas to look into.
How is the EXTENT specified in the MAPFILE and in what coordinate system. In the METADATA section in which order are wms_srs specified. What does extent look like in the getcapabilities report if You add: "wms_bbox_extended" "true" Hope this helps to debug further.
