good evening jeff, i have already consulted the link you sent me in this it
is said that python and php mapscript are already installed on the machine
in the *apache configuration section to run python scripts* it say to test
the *test-cgi-mapscript.py* to check if mapscript is working correctly I
tried and the server sent an error which means that mapscript is not
installed or has it installed incorrectly.  that's why I'm asking if there
is another way to correct this problem.  Nb: my final goal is to connect my
mapefile to my postgis database which I can't do.  I think the cause of
this connection failure is related to my mapscript not working.  Thank you
