Hi Marcin, Are you trying to display raster images with more colours?
You can play around with the OUTPUTFORMAT options - see details at https://mapserver.org/mapfile/outputformat.html IMAGEMODE might be what you are looking for? I've normally used these to reduce image sizes where possible.
